At Like A Child Learning Pod, we create a joyful, Montessori-inspired learning community where children can explore, create, and connect. Rooted in nature, thought therapy, creative arts, and mindfulness, our approach honors each child’s individuality while fostering curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning. We believe in nurturing the whole child—empowering them to think critically, grow emotionally, and discover their unique place in the world.
Our Educational Philosophy
At Like A Child Learning Pod, our educational philosophy centers on nurturing the whole child through a personalized, nature-inspired approach that empowers children to discover, create, and connect. We believe that each child is a unique individual with their own strengths, interests, and path to growth. Rooted in Montessori principles, we encourage children to learn at their own pace and engage in hands-on exploration, fostering resilience, empathy, and a lifelong love of learning.
To support each child’s unique journey, we use a variety of holistic tools to tailor their learning experience, helping them unlock their potential and embrace their creativity. We incorporate creative expression and visualization meditation, inspired by the ideas of Nikola Tesla, as powerful methods for integrating knowledge into higher thought forms. By visualizing and expressing their inner worlds, we guide children in turning imagination into reality, cultivating a mindset where possibility, purpose, and creative vision intersect.
Through this approach, we aim to inspire each child to grow not only academically but as compassionate, self-aware individuals ready to shape their world with curiosity, confidence, and intention.

Our Founder
Fedleine Jerome, the founder of Like A Child Homeschool Pod, is a licensed minister, certified elementary teacher with over eight years of classroom experience, and an award-winning creative whose work has been featured on Aspire TV and with top brands and networks.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Fedleine's journey in education is deeply personal. Through her own process of reconnecting with her inner child—an experience that began in therapy and allowed her to rediscover her unique expression—Fedleine found a renewed sense of freedom and purpose. Inspired by this transformation, she created Like A Child Homeschool Pod to offer children a space where they can explore their individuality, connect deeply with themselves, and embrace their natural creativity.
Driven by a belief in holistic, personalized education, Fedleine uses a blend of mindfulness, creative arts, and self-expression to nurture each child’s growth, helping them thrive academically and emotionally.
Our Curriculum
